No two people are the same and everyone learns at different speeds, so I will begin the first lesson with a consultation so I can learn about your past driving history, your weaknesses and when you hope to take your test.
When I have a full understanding of your experience and needs, I will modify my driving lessons accordingly. Perhaps you learn best through drawings when the car is stationary, or maybe you prefer to take verbal commands as you drive – whatever is best for you.
People learn best when they are comfortable and relaxed so SLD Driving School offer late night driving lessons and weekend driving lessons. Some learners prefer short lessons whilst others find longer sessions more effective. So, SLD Driving School offer a range of driving lessons to suit your tastes. Whatever your needs, I am very flexible and pride myself on providing lessons that work for you.
Motorway Lessons
Motorways won't be on your driving test and you may pass your test without even venturing on the motorway! Of course driving on the motorway for the first time can be rather intimidating so SLD Driving School offer motorway lessons that will give you the confidence you need to drive there. You will learn about speed limits, entering and exiting as well as safe motorway driving.

Refresher Lessons
My refresher lessons are for those who have passed their test but would like to continue learning, and those who passed their tests years ago but feel a bit rusty. SLD Driving School can focus on particular areas such as the motorway, driving at night or driving in poor weather conditions. SLD Driving School can also help those who have suffered an accident and would like to rebuild confidence.
